Welcome to St. Thomas Orthodox Church

Originally founded by Albanian immigrants in 1929, the parish today serves a  worshipping community of 3rd and 4th generation descendents of those founders, of new immigrants to our shores,  of “cradle Orthodox” of other backgrounds, and of converts to Orthodoxy.

If you have relocated to the area and are looking for a friendly parish with services in English, come visit us!

If you are visiting in the metro Detroit area, and would like to come to church while you are here, we’d love to welcome you.

If you are curious about what Orthodox Christianity is, and have driven by Orthodox churches, wondering what that’s all about, the message today is the same as it was when given by those first-century apostles:

“Come and see”.
